About Us

Lovelace Consulting Services Ltd. was established in the summer of 2018 in Regina, Saskatchewan. The company was named after Ada Lovelace (Agusta Ada King-Noel, Countess of Lovelace, 1815-1852) who is widely regarded as the world's first computer programmer from her forward-thinking work with Charles Babbage, an inventor paramount in the development of the first mechanical computer.

LCS originated from CADD:FM, a Facilities Management corporation specializing in the design, implementation, and maintenance of information systems which operated from 1989 until 2018. CADD:FM consisted of both AutoCAD systems development and database development, but after the sudden loss of its President and Founder, Ronald C. Gill on May 9, 2018, the company decided to cease operations at the end of July 2018. Since Ron's business philosophy was always about nurturing relationships, and after 14 years of working closely with Ron as the senior database developer, Wesley Tsang thought abandoning the clients of CADD:FM was simply unacceptable. Out of necessity, and with the blessing of Ron's family, LCS was born.
